Personal Details

Residence/Haunts: When Cernunnos is not actively patrolling the borders, he usually resides in a bramble thicket in Widow's Hollow. His thick, shaggy fur allows him to be unharmed by the thorns and brambles, though trespassers or other predators might have a  bit more trouble getting through.

Personality: Cernunnos is not afraid of much and it is evident in the way he carries himself and reacts to dangerous situations. He is constantly pushing both his own limits and the limits of others, and there's nothing he won't do for the well being of the herd and for himself. He's a very strong, proud stag, and he likes to spar in good faith with his herd members and can be a real flirt with does. True to his heritage, Cernunnos does not like outsider stags or trespassers, but his aggression is calmed quite a bit when it comes to does. Cernunnos is devout in his faith to Mother Uir, so he believes all does should be treated kindly and fairly, no matter where they are from. Since Cernunnos is on the lighter-colored scale in Blackwood, and therefor a natural target, he is not opposed to fighting dirty or doing anything he can to come out on top.

History: Cernunnos was born to two pure Blackwood parents. He wasn't the only child though and it was a bit crowded at home, so once he turned 5 years old he left his family to live on his own. As a soldier, he spends most of his time patrolling the borders surrounding Blackwood, so he's not as ribby and malnourished as the herd members who stick to the Hollow. He will sometimes go to the main herd to spar with fellow Blackwoods when he is not on active duty, or practice his magic, but most times he settles with fighting with the guards of whichever herd he's trespassing into.
